We arrived on Easter Sunday in Amsterdam. The city was bustlinig with holiday crowds. We enjoyed looking at the unique architecture of buildings along the canals.

The day after Easter we went to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens where they have 7.5 million flowers, mostly tulips. 30,000 other people had the same idea.

We began our biking trip in Harlem, north of Amsterdam. Our ebikes were fantastic, taking some of the work out of biking uphill and into the wind.

We biked about 50 kilometers each day, stopping frequently to photograph, have a cup of coffee, and eat lunch. We would buy bread at a small bakery to make a ham and cheese sandwich.

Crossing a small bridge this sculpture caught my eye. Holland is famous for ice skating on frozen canals, but we delighted at seeing the support shown for Ukraine.

I saw this unique bike that took these elderly gentlemen for a ride.
Putting on a new thatched roof. These roofs are said to last about 30 years.
