We found a nice sandy beach to land on Steep Island.
This is Raft Point on Steep Island.
An Osprey returning to its nest at Talbort Bay.
The churned up water trail of the Coral Explorerer.
Called Horizontal Falls, this unique opening in the walls of the canyon allowing the tides to rush in and out of the embayment behind.
Look close to see the wall of water built up behind the opening (Horizontal Falls as they call it) as it pushes to get out when the tide recedes.

This small island is an exmple of iron-rich land in the Yampi Sound region.

Can you imagine the forces that shaped this landscape.
We ascended and descended this ladder to reach the only place on the entire trip where we could swim without the threat of a crocodile nibbling on our legs.
And here is the swimming hole, a natural beauty safe from the crocodiles that roam the rivers.

On our last couple of days we attracted some sharks who liked to hang out at the back of the ship.
They were about 6-8 feet in length.
