We attempted to reach Barrow Falls but could not reach it because of low tides. So we photographed the beautiful granite rocks.
At Victorial Strait we encounter lots of small icebergs. We left the ship (see upper left) with our Zodiacs to inspect the ice up close.

After chasing the aurora borealis for several years without luck, we were surprised to see them so magnificently on this trip.
It was a challenge to photograph the aurora borealis from a ship.
It's one thing to take a photo of the Northern Lights, but quite a different experience to see them dancing in the sky in person.
The light was constantly changing and filling almost the entire sky.
You wonder what the Inuits of the past thought of these magnificent light shows.
