Botswana 2013
We had the good fortune to participate in a photo safari to Botswana led by Paul Renner (paulrenner3@cox.net), a superb guide. We were 12 enthusiastic photographers who visited 4 game reserves during a two-week period in May 2013. I took about 8000 photos. Here are a little over 100 of those that represent what we saw. Each day we went out before the sun rose, came back for lunch, and went out again about 3 pm for another 3-4 hours. Each day brought some special wildlife adventure that thrilled us all.
Read MoreWe got a report that a honey badger had attacked a python. When we arrived the 10-12 foot python lied dead in the road, with a big bite in his side and around his head. We took a photo or two and left, only to hear another report that the python was alive and moving toward the water. We went back and as you can see he very much was alive but in agony.
