In September we enjoyed a six-day houseboat trip on Lake Powell with our friends Mike and Irene Sisavic and Derry and Fran Dedmon. We broke 2 propellers on the speed boat that we pulled behind the houseboat and high-centered the houseboat on a hidden shoal. A brief storm one night pulled our anchors loose and it was a scramble to get the boat tied down again. Despite our ineptness we had a most enjoyable time and found the scenery exquisite.
